Storytelling in Fundraising: A 3-Hour Online Bootcamp
Learn how to turn real stories into powerful fundraising tools
Have you ever heard a story that stayed with you long after it ended?
Stories help us understand each other. They invite us into someone else’s world, touch our hearts, and inspire action. In this 3-hour online workshop, you’ll learn practical, step-by-step methods to discover your most powerful stories, shape them with intention, and share them in ways that create genuine connection—and spark support.
Fundraising is about more than forms and figures.
It’s about people: real lives, real challenges, and real change. When you tell a true story from your work, you offer your audience a chance to walk in someone else’s shoes. That feeling of shared experience builds trust—and moves people to give.
You’ll start by understanding why storytelling works (and how our brains are wired for it). Then, through hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to:
- Identify your strongest stories hiding inside your organization
- Align each story with your communication and fundraising goals
- Shape compelling narratives that feel natural and deeply human
